While she did not specifically single out a school, she did however, make reference to the Florida A&M University drum major Robert Champion who was fatally hazed during last year's Florida Classic.
At about midinight Palmer tweeted,
"This hazing stuff makes me so angry. How are you blundering people to death? That is not brotherhood or sisterhood, to beat someone. "
It got 33 retweets and also angered a few of Rattler. Some students tweeted support for Palmer while others did not. Within 30 minutes "Keke Palmer" was a trending topic.
Palmer felt that some student went a little overboard while others didn't understand where all of this hazing talk began.
After being shown some love and a little dislike, Palmer stopped tweeting. Palmer was not available for a statement.
Was the exchange between Palmer and FAMU students and supporters unecessary? Was the students a little to harsh?
